October 11, 2020: Twenty-Eighth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Do we know how to live with abundance? Given the choice between poverty and abundance, most of us would choose abundance; it’s just common sense. But it might be harder to live with. This week’s readings–particularly from St. Paul’s epistle to the Philippians–reminds us that we are not of this world–and that we should strive to live in both wealth and poverty with equal mindset, ever mindful of approaching the Kingdom of God.

On Sundays, our church doors remain open for private prayer after Mass until 6 pm. If you choose to make a Sunday visit to our Lord, please practice responsible social distancing.

Please consider donating to St. Francis de Sales Parish. We rely on your contributions to provide service to our community.
