September 6, 2020: Twenty-Third Sunday in Ordinary Time

The Gospel today teaches us about confronting fault–to take steps to help our brothers and sisters in Christ when we encounter them doing wrong. Fraternal correction is a difficult thing to do in the best of families, but we are reminded that helping each other in the family of the Church along the road to our Lord is maybe one of the most fraught but necessary things in the life of a Christian.

On Sundays, our church doors remain open for private prayer after Mass until 6 pm. If you choose to make a Sunday visit to our Lord, please practice responsible social distancing.

Please consider donating to St. Francis de Sales Parish. In the absence of a Sunday collection, we rely on your contributions to provide service to our community.
